What It Means - Day 351

"'Among mankind are those who dispute concerning God without knowledge, without guidance, and without an illuminating Book.'"
Quran 31:20

And Luqman continues to share wisdom with his son, as spelled our in the surah of the same name, number 31. Again, it's a simple admonition, but one that features a profound truth. In Islam we are not told to mindlessly memorize anything, although that seems to be the perception of the faith from outside the faith. Rather, we're instructed to think. We are reminded to only contest with others in the fairer manner, and that also means we have to study and think and consider the implications of our faith.
