I made it back from Iceland yesterday, and it was an extraordinary trip, so expect many postings. Beyond all logic and all that is right with the world, I've been lucky enough to travel a lot, but I don't know if that prepared me for Iceland. Just extraordinary. So, I'm back, but I feel that could disappear into a fjord at any moment. In the end, however, what made it so memorable was that I had the opportunity to spend a week straight with my son, which doesn't happen too often at my age.
Oh, and on a completely unrelated note. This is my 1200th posting, which is a testament to a blessed life and an extraordinary level of self-absorption.
I will have another post devoted exclusively to this spot, which may be the most awe-inspiring I've ever seen. |
