It seems somehow inappropriate, downright anti-Proustian, to feature a passage this brief for my 600th blog posting on Remembrance of Things Past, but such is the peculiarity of random chance. Marcel has decided to break his Hamletesque inertia and do something, anything, to get Albertine back. Of course, the end result will doubtless be something akin to Warren Zevon's Laws, Guns and Money or one of Baldrick's cunning plans from Blackadder.
