Yes, I am surrounded by way too many creative friends. On Friday I devoted the day to helping my friend Mike Lange insulate his attic, which resulted in me looking like I wondered in from Varykino in
Doctor Zhivago. Within five minutes of me sharing the picture with a few friends the excellent Steve Wehmeyer had already paired it with Lawrence of Arabia. Wehmeyer has always associated me with Lawrence, and claims that I am also one of those desert-loving English (which is, of course, completely true).
